Transport

The transport costs below (4 & 5) are purely indicative to give you, the buyer, an idea of the price needed to get your favourite and unique piece to you. The exact transport price will depend on the size and weight of the piece you bought and is therefore always custom-made. For each item, we will provide you with a detailed and tailor-made transport quote within 3 working days.

If you are not based in Europe (UK, Switserland, all other continents), all transport to your country is export. On top of the transport cost, you will have to pay for custom clearance (175 euro), the creation of export documents (40 Euro) and VAT which varies from one country to another.

You are more than welcome to collect the items in person at our showroom. Once a pickup date is scheduled, we will make sure that your item is carefully packed for safe transport. If you prefer to use your own carrier, please be aware that our responsibility (for any damage) ceases as soon as that carrier moves the item.

Transport cost = free

Smaller items that fit into a box (max. 60 x 60 x 50 – max weight : 20 kg) can be sent by post. Items are shipped within 3 working days as soon as the total amount (including shipping costs) has been credited to our bank account. The corresponding tracking code is always sent by e-mail, so that you can follow the parcel on his way to you.

Transport cost for a package (including insurance and track & trace) for BeNeLux : 40 Euros

All other european countries : 50 Euros

Other continents : 200 Euros

FIN – Funky Interior offers the possibility of personal delivery within Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Germany. The costs depend on the type and size of the article. Larger and more delicate items in particular are preferable to personal transport. The average delivery time for personal delivery is between 1 and 2 weeks, as soon as the total amount (including shipping costs) has been credited to our bank account and is always arranged in consultation. We deliver the product to the door/ground floor, except otherwise communicated.

The Netherlands, France, Germany: 250 Euros

Transport cost for a personal delivery of a ‘big/heavy’ item (such as a table, sideboard or sofa for which you need at least 4 strong arms) in Belgium : 250 Euros

The Netherlands, France, Germany : 350 Euros

FIN – Funky Interior works with various ‘white gloves’ transport companies, specialised in ‘fragile’ furniture, that deliver the items safely and with care. Transport prices always includes insurance and delivery to your doorstep. Our transporters contact you in advance regarding delivery, so you can make the necessary arrangements. Once the transport price is paid, you will receive an order number, by which you can follow your package on his way to you, using the websites of our trusted transporters. In case of heavy items, such as a big table or sideboard, you are supposed to lend a helping hand.

Indicative transport cost using our trusted transporters for a ‘small’ item (such as a chair or a floorlamp) to other European countries: 300 Euros.

Indicative transport cost using our trusted transporters of a ‘big/heavy’ item (such as a table, sideboard or sofa for which you need at least 4 strong arms) to other European countries: 400 Euros.

FIN- Funky Interior ships worldwide using specialised carriers. Whether we use air or road transport, whether our unique pieces need to be shipped to Japan, Australia, South Korea, we look for the best and safest way to get them to you. The international transport price depends on several factors including the distance the unique piece will travel, the mode of transport (by air, by road), the price of the fuel, the required packaging (airworthy, on pallet, disassembled, etc…)

Indicative transport cost using our trusted transporters for a ‘small’ item (such as a chair or a floorlamp) to other continents: 500 to 1000 Euros.

Indicative transport cost using our trusted transporters of a ‘big/heavy’ item (such as a table, sideboard or sofa for which you need at least 4 strong arms) to other continents: 1000 to 2000 Euros.
