How we select our treasures

When selecting mid-century objects, the most important condition for us is that we have to “fall in love” with them, whether it’s a lamp, hifi, seat, table, chair, or cabinet. We believe that drive and passion are essential for the success of any restoration process.

That’s why we go on treasure hunts all over Europe, from  north to south & from east to west.

At our core, we have a weakness for artisanal delights, perfectly made gems, well-thought-out design, and unique pieces that make you smile. We find it important to surround ourselves with beauty, and we believe that many share this with us.

Why we do it

At Funky Interior, we believe that every mid-century item deserves a second life.

Once a piece is purchased, we begin the renovation or restoration process, which involves meticulous attention to detail and a lot of passion.

We carry out the work ourselves or with the help of skilled professionals, ensuring that every step is carried out with care.

How we do it

Our commitment to quality and attention to detail is what sets us apart at FIN – Funky Interior.

We take pride in restoring the original comfort and beauty of each piece. The restoration process involves dismantling, cleaning, repairing, polishing, sanding, renewal of electrical wiring, re-upholstering, veneering, and more.

This intensive and time-consuming work is crucial to ensuring that each piece is restored as authentically as possible.
We use high-quality materials and pay attention to every detail, ensuring that the object can shine again, works perfectly, regains its comfort and most important, last another generation.

We believe that every piece has a story to tell and that our restoration work brings those stories to life. Whether you’re looking for a statement piece to complete your home decor or a rare find to add to your collection, we invite you to explore our selection of restored mid-century treasures.
